Welcome Party – Thursday 15th February 

Kick off your festivities for the Kangaroo Island Cup at the Ozone Hotel. Our Guest MC for the night is the iconic Australian race caller, Greg Miles. We have live music by local artist Jungli Slumber too.

Time: Doors open at 6:30pm
Entertainment: Live music and special guest speaker
Included: Bottomless grazing board with local oysters and 3 drinks

Calcutta Night – Friday 16th February 

Live music in Emu Bay bar from 530pm with local artist Jungli Slumber

DJ ACID DRIP FROM 9PM until late

Calcutta Tickets on sale in Emu Bay Bar 6pm – 8pm Calcutta  is drawn at 8:30pm

This is how the Calcutta works:

  • 10 winning tickets are drawn
  • Each ticket is then offered for sale to the public by auction.
  • Holders of a winning ticket receive half the winning bid of their ticket (Horse).
  • The other half of each winning bid is placed in the Calcutta Pool.
  • Successful auction bidders receive dividends from the Calcutta Pool, when the results of the Dudley Wines KI Cup are known. First 70%, second 20%, third 10%.

Race Day After Party – Saturday 17th February

Head to the Ozone Hotel after the KI CUP to enjoy some drinks and dancing.  DJ Acid Drip on the decks again in the front bar, open from 4pm.

Emu Bay bar will also be open for those who want something a little quieter or for a game of 8ball.

  • We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time.
  • We may contact you about this reservation, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date.
  • Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 4; and 2 hours for parties of 5+.

Race week bookings will require credit card details at the time of booking. Cancellations or no shows on the day of your booking will incur a strict $20pp charge.
