Aurora Ozone Hotel is located on Kingscote foreshore and is located approximately 50min drive from the ferry wharf at Penneshaw, and 45 min drive from Penneshaw Airport. We recommend that you prebook your transfer from the port/airport to our Hotel ahead of time.

Sealink Ferry & Shuttle Service operates ferries to and from Kangaroo Island, running between Cape Jervis (on the Fleurieu Peninsula) and Penneshaw. There are daily ferries that run daily, while others operate depending on season. The ferry ride is a 45-minute journey across the Backstairs Passage to the islands second biggest town, Pennshaw.
Ferries can accommodate both passengers and vehicles with a maximum length of four metres. If you are bringing your vehicle, pre-booking is ESSENTIAL. Passengers travelling without a vehicle can make use of Kangaroo Island Sealink’s shuttle service. Shuttles run from Adelaide and Goolwa to Cape Jervis and from Penneshaw to Kingscote.
