The health and safety of our guests and team members is of utmost priority we are pleased to share with you that we are following the highest level of hygiene standards and the following protocols are in place.

Update to our room housekeeping service – In our ongoing commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests, please note during these unprecedented times, the safety of our guests and staff our housekeeping team will only provide a daily service on request, this will need to be advised to reception by 10am each morning.

Please find attached our Safety Plan Checklist and Statement of Commitment to adhere to the principles of COVID-19 safety for the South Australian Government.

Meet our apprentice chef DILLON!
Dillon is a born and bred Islander originally growing up in parndana which is well known as the KI farming area.

The dish pictured is his VEGAN eggplant rollatini - marinated eggplant chargrilled and wrapped around a vegan house made ricotta stuffing oven baked in a rich marinara sauce.

Dillon loves kangaroo island for its beaches and because his family lives here. It’ll always be home to him even though he’s hoping to move to the city once he finishes his apprenticeship next year 🏖️

Dillon’s favourite part about being a chef is cooking and seeing people happy over the food he makes them 🍽️

Dillon will go far as a chef and who knows maybe he’ll come back and settle down as our very own head chef once he spends the next few decades honing his skills in other places 🌇

Meet chef Martino, originally from Turin, piedmont region in Italy. Martino hand makes the pasta for the wild mushroom tagliatelle on our current menu.

When asked what his favourite part of his job was he said ‘it’s the creativity as well as making guests happy through what we cook’.

He loves kangaroo island for the community, wild animals and the local products such as honey, lavender and wine. He plans to spend the next 3 years and has been on the island almost 2 years already.
